EmailReady to step onto the dance floor and immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Bachata? Look no further! This Absolute Beginner Bachata Class in Bristol was designed just for you.
Join in for a special small group (up to 16 people) Bachata lesson for people with no experience of dancing whatsoever, at a slow pace with lots of teacher contact.
Bachata is a Latin dance originating in the Dominican Republic and can be danced as a higher energy partner dance (Traditional), incorporating movements from other dances like Salsa/Zouk (Moderna/Urban/Sensual).
Their teaching style will give you a strong foundation to move you forwards in predominantly Modern, Urban and Sensual styles.
The Total Beginners class takes place between 18.15 - 19.15. After the class the hosts have 30 minutes for you to practice with some music.
Chris Dwyer & Jess Szűcs are your teachers for the complete beginners and they both take a deep joy in your progress, with 10 years combined experience they have a clear understanding of the fundamental skills of Bachata and with 20 years experience in teaching they have the complete skill set to give you the best start to your bachata journey.
What to expect:
- An intimate class for up to 8 people, perfect for absolute beginners with no prior dance experience. Expect personalised attention and a supportive environment.
- The lesson proceeds at a comfortable pace, ensuring everyone can follow along and build confidence.
- Plenty of one-on-one contact with the instructors to address questions and provide guidance.

There is road side parking, however, if you are struggling Asda Bedminster is a 5-minute walk & the 2 and a half hour parking limit is sufficient for the class.
Wear casual or sport clothes, there is a bar at the venue.

Charlie has great dancing ability, understanding of timing and structure which is fundamental at Level 1 and the students will learn a great deal from him.
