The experience brought by Magari together with its host and chef for the night was an unforgettable one! A piece of home in the middle of Bristol, for me as an Italian. The wines were carefully chosen, the explanation impeccable, the food pairings were heavenly. I would highly recommend and I will go back if more events of this kind are added in the future!

Fantastic wine and pasta tasting evening at Magari. Very comfortable and fun experience. Food is excellent. Great freshly made pasta and sauces. Wine selection to go with the food was spot on.

My 4 friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the wine and food pairing evening. The presenter was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information on the origin, characteristics and background of the wine producers. The details that she provided were really very good (especially the map)
The food was really good, tasty and did seem to match the wine well.
It was very nice to be greeted with a glass of Prosecco as the first wine to taste

Magari
Magari is run by Italian husband and wife team Fabio and Gilda. With roots deep within Italian food and wine production, and having moved to the UK a few years earlier, they set up Magari in Wapping wharf to provide Authentically Italian and Sustainably British food.
In Italy, cooking is simple. Each dish has few ingredients, and flavour is based on quality not complexity. Farmers don't go shopping, they prepare creative recipes in the kitchen with what they have!
At Magari, Fabio and Gilda chose to do as the farmers of the past. They are proud to offer pasta dishes rooted in tradition, sustainability and delicious creativity.
