Six Week Pottery Hand Building Course

Looking to get your hands messy with clay? Want to learn new skills along the way? Then this 7-week pottery hand-building course is for you!

In these pottery sessions, you will learn all about the world of hand-building pieces of pottery out of clay.

Sessions are recurring on the weekday and time as displayed on your purchase/chosen timeslot.

Hand building is an ancient pottery technique, which was used by ceramists long before anyone invented the pottery wheel! These classes will take you through hand-building techniques step by step, and will help you create anything that takes your fancy!

Your host for this experience is professional potter Jane, who will be there with plenty of support and guidance.

What to expect:

• Regular space and time to explore pottery making
• Sessions led by your own interests- get help making whatever you would like to create!
• Be guided through the different techniques and processes of hand building
• Plenty of individual help and support from your host
• Tools and equipment provided (you will only need to buy a bag of clay)

These sessions are made for all levels of skill and experience. Come along, have fun getting creative with clay and leave with hand-built pieces of pottery, plus a whole new set of skills to continue practising. Ticket price includes firing!
