The Bristol Graffiti Workshop

We booked this graffiti workshop for our 10yr old son and a few of his friends. Tom clearly explained and demonstrated different techniques and everyone had a great time working on a giant collaboration, as well as creating their own mini canvases to take home. Would definitely recommend to any age from ~7yrs up.

Tom was a brilliant tutor. He explained and demonstrated things clearly. There was a lovely progression through the session. We were a mix of adults and young people and it was very inclusive for us all. And we had really enjoyable time. Thank you.

We received this as a gift. Tom made the experience accessible to all. Our group had ages from 6 to 66! It was well paced with a great mix of information and practical work. It was good to have a small piece of artwork to take home.

I brought this as a gift for my partner and he loved it, was easy to book and find the location.
He walked away with a lot more knowledge and skills then he had, he enjoyed the information he also got from the host who was helpful and friendly. Great quality for money and would highly recommend this if your into graffiti art!

Excellent and unusual activity. My 15 year old son really enjoyed it and is proud of his graffiti picture that we brought home. We will be recommending to friends with similar aged children.

Really fun workshop, learnt lots but also a lot of freedom to just get stuck in and be creative. Would definitely consider a follow up more in depth workshop too. Great for kids and adults.

We had such a great time at the workshop. Tom was a great host and really helped my son with creating the stencil that he wanted. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to other families as a fun group activity to do together.

I had unreasonable amounts of fun! Great for kids and adults alike, really well organised and Tom the instructor was brilliant.

Absolutely loved it. I can't even draw it didn't matter. The instructor was fantastic and we did way more then I expected in such a short time.

What a fantastic experience! We had a fab time, it was fun, very creative and overall just fascinating. We could ask as many questions as we wanted and could try loads of different things. There were individual pieces to work on along with a collaborative piece for the whole group. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone interested in graffiti.

Time flew by and great fun, Tom is very generous and relaxed.

Well run and fun group. I went from thinking I'm not an artist at all, to thinking I'm just not very good at art 🤯

The workshop was really well structured and Tom did a great job of accommodating the very varied ages and experience levels in the group so everyone learned lots. The group piece was a real wow and the individual pieces to take home are a lovely touch too.

Bought for my Dad and I to do as his birthday present and we both had the best time! Learnt so much and had such a fun afternoon painting. We liked the mix of doing the group mural but getting to take a something home also.

Great intro to graffiti art and techniques. Felt very authentic to be doing it in Bristol with a Bristol street artist. Excellent tutor. Learnt a lot and highly recommend it to anyone interested in graffiti art.

Absolutely loved every moment of this workshop, it was suitable for teenagers and adults. The artist was knowledgeable, helpful and gave advice to ensure you are happy with your canvas.

The length of the workshop was perfect and left everyone amazed by graffiti we see around the local area and skill that goes into it.

Our grandson had a great time at this workshop, he was quite nervous but Tom put him at ease and he had an amazing time. He was very proud of the art work he bought home and it has renewed his interest in art. Thanks Tom, we will certainly be recommending your workshop!

Great activity to do for all ages. There were children, couples and people on their own taking part. Venue was good. Tom was informative and showed us how to do different techniques. Would highly recommend.

Tom was a great teacher, he showed us different techniques and was very encouraging. We worked on a large collective piece, we created stencils and we did a small canvas to take-away. The group size is small and kept the whole experience friendly. Good for children over 10 and adults. really enjoyed it :)

Tom was an outstanding instructor who was v knowledgeable and passionate about graffiti- he ran the workshop in a way that was hands-on from the start (we got to experiment with different colours and techniques)- I would most definitely recommend! 🙂

Me and my friend Amanda had a brilliant time learning to graffiti with Vane. It was informative, fun and the right level of guidance and practice to really get value from the time. Would be great to do some courses to keep learning more! 100% would recommend this for adults, kids and anyone spending time or living in Bristol.

My two boys aged 11 and 13 did the workshop. They absolutely loved it. Highly recommend and they want to do it again!

This is not just for kids- if you want to have a go at something different while having fun, go for it. You come away with the skills to get going on your own, whether you are a professional artist in a diffent field or just want to have a go at something new. I now look at graffiti in a different way. This was the BEST! We were a family group of 8 (aged 13+) and had a brilliant time with Tommy! The pace of the session was perfect with time to ask questions, learn techniques and most importantly, practice our graffiti skills on our giant collaborative piece. Tommy has a great nature, is super talented and was really good company… encouraging and knowledgeable. We also came away with goodie bags and our own canvas. My advice… book your session, you will LOVE it!

We got this as a birthday treat for our son. We had a great time learning a new skill together, it was a lot of fun!

Tom did a great job yesterday with the workshop. Within minutes everyone was spraying small canvasses and then, whilst those were drying we were encouraged to experiment with spraying onto a larger surface. Tom showed how to do outlines and then encouraged people to have a go at more detailed work.
Part of the workshop was inside doing lettering onto the canvasses we had sprayed and then we were encouraged to make stencils which we then sprayed onto the larger artwork outside. Great workshop!

My son really enjoyed it! He’s a keen artist so really good for him to meet actual graffiti artists.

Lovely course, be nice to learn a bit more about the meaning/roots and more techniques but was fantastic fun! Great for my son!
