Ticketing

All tickets are non-refundable. For details, see Participant Terms and Conditions displayed at the point of booking.

You will receive your e-ticket(s) from Yuup via email. This will be sent from: hello@yuup.co (please check your junk or spam folders in case it’s gone there). A copy of your ticket can also be found by logging in to your Yuup customer account and selecting ‘my experiences’.

If you have purchased multiple tickets under one booking, please note the Yuup system will generate separate QR codes for each person to scan on arrival. 

You are advised to either print a copy of your e-ticket(s) at home, or display your ticket on your mobile to be scanned at the entry gate.

If you have a ticket or booking-related question, you can contact the Yuup team via email at hello@yuup.co or by using Intercom, the instant chat function found on the Yuup homepage.

Early-bird refers to the first ticket tier we are selling tickets at. Early bird ends on 19th July and then we're moving onto our general admission price tier. 

Tickets can only be purchased in advance from the Yuup website and cannot be purchased from the venue box office.

It’s a shame you can’t join us. Tickets are non-refundable, however, if you would like to pass on your tickets to someone else that is fine as long as they have access to the QR e-tickets to scan on entry.

Children under the age of three are required to sit on the lap of the adult they are attending with. Please select the 'Adult + Child Under 3 ticket which allow one adult and a child under 3 to enter. 

Please note a second QR will be generated for this ticket type. 

Premium seats provide customers with access to an indoor bar and toilet.

Please, bear in mind, premium ticket does not include food or drinks. 

Timings / Arrival

We advise you to arrive in plenty of time to get through the gates and security checks prior to the start time.
Please be aware: 

  • Recommended entry gate for your seating location will be specified on your ticket.
  • Bag searches will be in operation as well as security checks at the entrance. 

Show timings:

- Gates open: 17:30
- Food village opens and DJ starts: 17:30 
- Pre-show starts: 19:30
- Drones take flight: 19:48 
- Show ends: 20:15 
- Site closes: 22:00

The total run time is 45 minutes. The show includes an 18-minute pre-show and a 27-minute drone light show so the entire show will last for 45 minutes in total.

  • No alcohol.
  • No glass bottles.
  • No fireworks or flares.
  • No weapons, firearms or any other items considered dangerous.
  • Flags, Clothing, Banners, or other signs that are offensive, racist, or commercially or politically motivated.
  • No instruments, whistles or horns, unless agreed in advance.

This policy helps to ensure the safety and comfort of spectators in attendance at Edgbaston. The venue will have a thorough safety and security operation in place when you arrive. Bags and personnel will be searched, please avoid bringing bags, if at all possible.


Seating

Edgbaston is a fully accessible venue and tickets are available for wheelchair users in dedicated areas – Eric Hollies Stand and South Lower Stand. We recommend that disabled guests enter Edgbaston through the Main Reception (E4/5 Entrance) on Edgbaston Road. There are lift facilities available for those that need it and our volunteers will be on hand to assist any guests that require it.

All disabled seating is on flat ground at the front or back of the Eric Hollies and South Lower Stands that are accessible via the ground floor or via lifts.

Both seat options are marked with symbols and are colour coded. For companion seat, select orange option with two figures and for wheelchair space, select green wheelchair symbol. 

Wheelchair seats are limited, so please book tickets for yourself and your carer at the same time to ensure you are sat together. 

Yes, we offer a complimentary ticket for companions attending the performance with you. 

You must be able to supply the following documentation dated within the past 12 months or with a valid date covering the event:

  • Front-page of DLA letter or PIP letter 
  • Front-page of Attendance Allowance letter
  • DID card (National Disabled Identification Card)
  • Evidence of being registered as severely sight-impaired (blind)
  • Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
  • Valid Access Card showing you require a +1 to accompany you
  • Armed Forces Independent Disability Payment
  • War Disablement Pension
  • A specialist medical consultant letter stating your need for additional assistance at events

In addition, copies of the following two pieces of evidence are required in order to reserve an accessible parking space:

  • Valid Blue Badge
  • Valid Photo ID (Driver's licence/Passport or equivalent, to validate the Blue Badge)

It is recommended that you choose a seat located towards the front of the row nearest the performance area or at the end of an aisle, as this will provide you with a little bit more space.

Visitors with mobility scooters will be able to drop them off at the point behind Store ’94 on the concourse behind Main Reception.

Facilities at Edgbaston Stadium

Edgbaston is renowned for its award-winning food and drink. Fordhall Farm, a community-owned organic farm will be operating an extensive food village. Catering will be available offering a wide range of options to suit all dietary requirements, including Halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and more.

Edgbaston is a cashless venue and only cards will be accepted at bars and catering units. We ask all visitors to remember to bring their card or e-wallet.

All seating at Edgbaston is tiered so all visitors have the best view. Although it is not steep there are stairs leading up and down each stand to access your seat. 

All disabled seating is on flat ground at the front or back of the Eric Hollies and South Lower Stands that are accessible via the ground floor or via lifts.

Getting to Edgbaston Stadium

Edgbaston will be operating no parking on-site on the day of the event. Although off-site parking over the road from Edgbaston on Queen’s Ride Car Park is available to book in advance via https://parkthecarhere.com/edgbaston. This includes a limited number of accessible parking spaces that can be booked on a first-come-first-served basis.

 

Edgbaston Stadium will have limited Blue Badge parking, which must be booked in advance online at tickets.edgbaston.com. Only a limited number of spaces are available. Please do not arrive at the stadium without pre-booked accessible parking.

There are regular local buses to the ground from south-west Birmingham and the City Centre. National Express buses 45 and 47 have services between the City Centre and Pershore Road which is a 2-minute walk to the ground.

Birmingham New Street Station is the main rail hub for the city with connections from all over the country.

For onward travel to Edgbaston, head to the nearby bus station and catch one of the services travelling to Edgbaston Cricket Ground.

General questions

Yes, Evolution is suitable for all ages to enjoy!

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Any adult is responsible entirely for the safety and welfare of any Infant and/or Child and/or Teenager in their party. We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18s.

In the event of bad weather conditions, the event may be postponed and your booking will automatically be moved to a new date as explained on the Experience Listing. We will contact all customers by email and SMS to confirm the new date the event will be held on.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to attend the event with you with the exception of assistance dogs.

Yes, spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the following restrictions:

No alcohol is allowed into the ground. As you would expect, we will have a thorough safety and security operation in place when you arrive. Bags and personnel will be searched. Please avoid bringing bags, if at all possible.

There are no exemptions for bringing food or drink onsite if you have a health condition - where possible provide proof of this to stewards on entry.
