Ticketing

All tickets are non-refundable. For details, see Participant Terms and Conditions displayed at the point of booking.

You will receive your e-ticket(s) from Yuup via email. This will be sent from: hello@yuup.co (please check your junk or spam folders in case it’s gone there). A copy of your ticket can also be found by logging in to your Yuup customer account and selecting ‘my experiences’.

If you have purchased multiple tickets under one booking, please note the Yuup system will generate separate QR codes for each person to scan on arrival. 

You will need to display your e-ticket(s) on your mobile to be scanned at the entry gate, or if you prefer print a copy of your e-ticket(s) at home and present it at the gate ready to be scanned.

Tickets can only be purchased in advance from the Yuup website and cannot be purchased from the venue box office.

It’s a shame you can’t join us. Tickets are non-refundable, however, if you would like to pass on your tickets to someone else that is fine as long as they have access to the QR e-tickets to scan on entry.

Children under the age of three are required to sit on the lap of the adult they are attending with. Please select the 'Adult + Child Under 3 ticket which allow one adult and a child under 3 to enter. 

Please note a second QR will be generated for this ticket type. 

Premium tickets provide customers with access to an indoor bar and toilet. Those seats can be found in Cow Corner and Players Club.

Please, bear in mind, premium ticket does not include food or drinks. 

Hospitality tickets provide guests with pre-show access to hospitality boxes, complete with food and drinks. Before the show starts, guests will transfer to their reserved seats in Shark Stand.

Timings / Arrival

We advise you to arrive in plenty of time to get through the gates and security checks prior to the start time.
Please be aware:

  • Main entrance (Gate 1) will be in open to ticket holders. 
  • Bag searches will be in operation as well as security checks at the entrance.

This is a 45-minute drone light show experience.

  • Illegal drugs
  • Umbrellas (only for use before the show and not during the performance)
  • Flags or banners containing poles or sticks 
  • Weapons, firework, explosive material, smoke canister, incendiary device
  • Flare, klaxon, megaphone, compressed air or gas operated horn, whistle, drum or other musical instrument 
  • Any other object which may be considered by a steward to be offensive, disruptive, dangerous or otherwise likely to infringe on the safety or security of anyone inside the venue
  • Animals (except guide dogs)

Seating

The 1st Central County Ground is fully accessible. Wheelchair spaces are located in designated area next to the Sharks Stand. Accessible toilets can be found behind the Sharks Stand. 

On the day, stewards will be on hand to provide willing assistance.

Both seat options are marked with symbols and are colour coded. For companion seat, select orange option with two figures and for wheelchair space, select green wheelchair symbol.

Wheelchair seats are limited, so please book tickets for yourself and your carer at the same time to ensure you are sat together.

Yes, we offer a complimentary ticket for companions attending the performance with you. 

You must be able to supply one of the following documentation dated within the past 12 months or with a valid date covering the event:

  • Front-page of DLA letter or PIP letter 
  • Front-page of Attendance Allowance letter
  • DID card (National Disabled Identification Card)
  • Evidence of being registered as severely sight-impaired (blind)
  • Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
  • Valid Access Card showing you require a +1 to accompany you
  • Armed Forces Independent Disability Payment
  • War Disablement Pension
  • A specialist medical consultant letter stating your need for additional assistance at event 

It is recommended that you choose a seat located towards the front of the row nearest the performance area or at the end of an aisle, as this will provide you with a little bit more space.

Facilities

A range of food and beverage concessions and bar options will be available and will include catering for a range of dietary needs, including vegan and gluten-free.

The 1st Central County Ground is a cashless venue. This means that only card or contactless payments will be accepted (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) throughout the venue.

Seating at the venue is tiered and in places there is a significant incline. If you prefer not to climb steps we recommend that you select seats near the front of the stands. 

Getting to the venue

Please note there is no parking available on site.

We recommend using sustainable transport to travel but if you need to travel by car there is public car parking at Norton Road Car Park (BN3 3BE), located a short walk west of The 1st Central County Ground opposite Hove Town Hall (charges apply between 8am and 8pm).

The Number 7 bus runs past the North (Cromwell Road) end of the ground with several stops near the ground. This service is the George Street, Hove to Brighton Marina service and serves both Hove and Brighton Rail Stations. This bus runs approximately every 10 minutes and around every 15 minutes on Sundays. 

The 21 & 21A Brighton Marina to Goldstone Valley service stops outside the main entrance to the ground; these are less frequent but do run through the central Hove and Brighton areas. 

There are several additional services that stop on Church Road, a short walk from the main entrance.

Hove Railway Station is a ten minute walk from the cricket ground. 

Leave the station and head South on Goldstone Villas, at the bottom of the road turn left onto Eaton Road. Cross over The Drive continuing along Eaton Road, The 1st Central County Ground will appear on your left hand side. 

Brighton Railway Station is approximately a mile and a half from the Club.

There are regular rail services from Brighton Station to Hove Station.

There is also a taxi rank located just outside Brighton Station.

General questions

Yes, A Christmas Carol is suitable for all ages to enjoy!

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Any adult is responsible entirely for the safety and welfare of any Infant and/or Child and/or Teenager in their party. We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18s.

In the event of bad weather conditions, the event may be postponed and your booking will automatically be moved to a new date as explained on the Experience Listing. We will contact all customers by email and SMS to confirm the new date the event will be held on.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to attend the event with you, with the exception of assistance dogs.
